Daily commute to the boat yard
Now that the boat was under contract it was time to get to know this amazing vessel by helping the owner get her ready to launch. This meant a daily commute to the boatyard to be in and around this boat and to help get her ready to launch and sea-trial. There was plenty to do as the masts, booms and all the rigging needed to be stepped and completely rigged. I was more than ready and eager to jump in and start working on her.
My daily commute to the boatyard was a dream come true. Here I was beginning to live my life-long dream of actually living on a tropical island in the Caribbean and about to take on the biggest task and adventure that I’ve ever tackled in my life.
